
Allison specializes in gait analysis, helping her patient’s achieve their most efficient and fit form by emphasizing proper body mechanics and postural control. As a veteran runner, she designs individual running programs tailored to her patient’s specific needs that ensure a swift return to training.
Allison Lind graduated with honors from Columbia University with a doctorate in physical therapy. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science where she studied Biology. As a varsity athlete, Allison was All-American in cross-country and track. In college, she was nationally ranked in the 5k race. After college, she turned her focus toward participating in triathlon and marathon competitions.
Allison is a member of Central Park Track Club, USA Track and Field, and New York Road Runners. Currently, she competes for Central Park Track Club in road races ranging from the 5k to the marathon. She has completed New York City, Philadelphia, and Virginia Beach Marathons. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association Sports and Orthopedics Section.
